6k base ¶

6k base is a nether stop constructed by Oliverjade in September 2024, for the purpose of being a rest stop on the netherrack path inbetween 0k3k (3k base) and 2k8k.
It is a building built out of stone and glass floating above a lava lake, originally a 14x14 floor it would later be expanded to 15x15 when the rail came around
From September 2024 to April 2025 it was rarely ever visited and had a stone and stone slab floor, on 13/04/2025 the overworld mines would be created for supplying the rail project which would reach the base later that day.
In the early morning of April 14th JHANS_ would move into the overworld side of the base after his house got demolished, and the base would be partially extended to 15x15 for symmetry with the rail, this would be finished by April 15th along with the glass floor and JHANS_ would never return.
During late April the base would be used as an outpost for building the short-lived Light-Year Rail before getting merged into the Jadean Express.
On 27/05/2025 trimmTwinn was also stabbed here.

6k8k consists of 2 entrances, one takes the rail to spawn while the other end goes further south.
The bottom floor consists of a portal, chests, furnaces, note blocks, a jukebox, crafting tables and pumpkins along with a glass floor and windows
Upstairs is 2 layers of wheat farms (320 wheat at full harvest) along with a layer of sugar cane (102 cane at full harvest)
Outside is a room with 2 doors and 1 sign with only the letter Q on it, it is unknown what this is for.

The overworld side has stairs down to the mines where the cobblestone for the rail was collected, along with JHANS_'s tower.
